just an update

here are just a few of the cakes i have done since the last update

Both spider man, and the presious moments pictures are frozen butter cream transfers done for birthday cakes. the butterflies are fondant painted with gel coloring and lemon extract. 

this is by far my favorite cake so far!! It is my wilton decorating class 4 cake. the cake is vanilla cake with caramel buttercream and caramel marshmallow fondant YUMMY! the flowers are made with vanilla marshmallow fondant mixed with gumpaste to help hold the shape. the flowers are painted with coloring then brushed with an edable glitter. this cake stacked would be the perfect cake for an outdoor wedding cake, or a rustic wedding cake. 

can we say NUMMY! these are spice cake with whipped pumpkin pie frosting and a mini pumpkin candy. 

my VERY favorite rose. this is a golden yellow rose dusted with a edible glitter 

calla lilly made from fondant and gumpaste mixture.

another of my roses. LOVED doing this cake! it is a chocolate cake with vanilla butter cream and oreo filling covered in vanilla marshmallow fondant. 

It has been a while

And not much has been going on. I started a new job a little over a month ago at the bakery at IGA, so i have not had a lot of time to do many projects. I am in the process of signing up to sell scentsy!! i am WAYYY excited about this new venture!! in the mean time, here are a some pictures of some
cakes/cupcakes that i bumped into while digging through some pictures

This is a birthday cake i made for a family reunion. Every year we celebrate the 0 birthdays (10,20,30...) this year was my dads birthday(60) and the other 2 people were turning 30. so i did a play on numbers (to make my dad look old :D ) and put their name next to their age and made it like a math problem.

These cupcakes were really fun to make! i made these for a 4th of july party. they are a white cake colored with red and blue coloring. the buttercream was BY FAR the best i have ever made. 

This was my first tiered cake AND my first fondant cake. I made this a couple of years ago for my moms birthday, and fathers day, (which happened to fall on the same day that year). This cake is covered with home made marshmallo fondant(WAY YUMMY!!) and the top layer was a strawberry cake(dads favorite) and the bottom was a spiced cake(moms favorite)

I Had such a blast making these little guys for my first farmers market last week. They are made from vanilla cupcakes. with m&m's on top to look like pie filling. I made red (strawberry) blue(blueberry) yellow (lemon) brown(chocolate) and green (apple). Next time i make them i want to fill them with the kind of pie they are. I think it would be a fun surprise.

Turquoise 4 and 6 mm bicone beads separated with blue seed beads. Tear drops measure approximately 2 inches in length,and approximatively 1 and a half inches across. size and color adjustments can be made upon your request.

This is a 4mm light amethyst (Feb. birthstone) and 6mm round AB beads. Bracelet measures 7-7 1/2 inches. 

One of a kind Swarovski Crystal with Tigers Eye beads and a Sterling Silver Lobster Clasp. Measures 8" (inches) in length. Makes a Great gift idea!

Farmers market HERE I COME!!

Im just WAY to excited!! Tilda's treasures is going public for the first time!!! I will be at the Salem farmers market today selling my goodies!   look for pictures soon :)

farmers market yesterday was LOADS OF FUN!!!! I am going to do my best to be back next week with some new goodies! If anyone wants to see anything specific there let me know and ill do my best!

mums cupcakes

These guys were AMAZING fun to make! they are a variety of cake flavors, as i made A LOT of them, so i dont remember exact flavors. the mums are made from home made sprinkles and marshmallows. These are one of my favorites. i LOVE the colors on them.
